Northern France/Southern Germany 2013

Early summer visit to Northern France to see some military landmarks of the Twentieth Century.  In attendance: Brendan and friend Tyger - accompanied by Dad.

Hackenberg Fort - part of the infamous Maginot Line - French defensive underground tunnels built after WWI to resist invading armies - occupied by Germany during WWII - liberated by the U.S. 7th Army in 1944.
